Go to Settings > Bluetooth. On the front of the charging case there is a little led, on the original ones the little LED almost looks black when it’s not on and there is also plastic covering the hole where the LED is located as you can see in the picture below: On the fake case, there is a little LED as well but if you look careful you will notice that it looks almost white and there is also a little hole in the charging case.
